Director
Meaghan Salmon (she/her)
Meaghan Salmon (she/her) is a multidisciplinary artist, working in Tkaronto as a performer, director, and designer. Hailing from the Niagara Region, she grew up surrounded by her arts community and is grateful to have found a second home in Toronto. Meaghan aspires to inspire the next generation of theatre creators and grow as a leader in Canadian theatre. She would like to thank all the teachers, mentors, friends, and family who have supported her along the way. Producer
Cheyenne Chandler-Strub (she/her)
Cheyenne is thrilled to be making her producing debut with Sunbeam Theatre Co. Her background in theatre inspires a passion for creations. She would like to take a moment to thank all those who have assisted in her growth: the teachers, mentors, friends, and family. She aims to bring a fresh perspective to the indie theatre scene while opening doors for new artists. Cheyenne is committed to delivering a meaningful impact on the theatre community. She is excited to collaborate with talented artists and creative minds this season at Sunbeam. She looks forward to contributing to the company's mission of creating groundbreaking theatre opportunities for new and upcoming artists.
Stage Manager & Props Master
Emily Brown (she/they)
Emily is a recent graduate from the University of Guelph with a BA in Theatre. She is now working as a stage manager/assistant stage manager in Toronto. Emily is thrilled to get the chance to work on Sunbeam's first show and to collaborate with a great team of artists. Some past credits include: Lion In The Streets (University of Guelph), Carmel (4th Line Theatre), The Wedding Singer (Curtain Call Productions), and Blackberry (Red Beti Theatre).
Fight Director
Matthew Lazaris-Brunner (he/him)
Matthew Lazaris-Brunner began his training in stage combat in 2016 with The Academy of Dramatic Combat. Since earning his Advanced Actor Combatant certification, he has continued to train with Violence in Motion and other accredited professionals in the industry. In addition to his theatrical experience, Matthew is an instructor of Historical European Martial Arts, and has been training with historical weapons for over twelve years. Previous credits in fight direction include: The Dream (Shadowpath Theatre), Midsummer Night: A Dream (Tottering Biped Theatre)
Intimacy Director
Rebecca Lashmar (she/her)
Rebecca Lashmar is an actor, writer, and intimacy director currently in school for her MA at the Centre for Drama, Theatre and Performance Studies at the University of Toronto. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Honours Acting from the University of Windsor, a diploma in Art Administration and Leadership from Queen’s University and is a certified Mental Health Practitioner. With a focus on consent-based and trauma-informed practices, Rebecca has a love for unapologetic storytelling, collaboration and text analysis. Previous select credits include; Jesus Christ Superstar (Sheridan College) Portia’s Julius Caesar (University of Waterloo), Spring Awakening (Kordazone Theatre).
Board Op Technician
Ryan Davy (he/him)
Ryan is a graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland with a BA in Production Technology and Management. Previous credits include "Canada Ireland: A Musical Journey from Hardship to Hope" (SM Winter Garden Theatre), "Rent," "Golden Ages," "Sister Act," "Into the Woods" (SM Trentino Music Festival), "Stones in His Pockets" (SM and Lighting Design Wychwood Theatre), and "Carmen" (ASMI Opera Australia). Looking forward to returning to the world of Shakespeare!
Assistant Stage Manager
Evelyne Goulet (she/her)
Evelyne is a recent graduate of Theatre School at The University of Guelph. She is grateful for her experiences with The Stratford Festival, The Fringe and Luminato Festival. Evelyne's passion lies in Acting Theory, Site Specific and Feminist Theatre. Some previous theatre credits include: The Full Light of Day (Electric Company Theatre), Catastrophe (Judith Thompson), Haroun and the Sea of Stories (Wexford Performing Arts), and The Remarkable Flight of Marnie McPhee (University of Guelph).

Chloe McDonald (she/her)
Chloe McDonald is a Photographer based in Kitchener-Waterloo & has been involved in the theatre from an early age, both on and off stage. Surrounded by artistic inspiration, she began studying photography throughout high school then attended Sheridan College’s Bachelor of Photography. Chloe is delighted to capture the visions of the creative team and cast through the development of the show. She aims to create simple, but enticing, visuals that compliment the natural beauty and talent across the production. Chloe thanks the Creative team for such a warm welcome to the show!
