AUDITIONS

SUNBEAM THEATRE GENERAL AUDITION CALL 

This General Audition Call is for our 2026 METEOR SHOWER Festival, and our unannounced 2027 season. Artists may choose to submit for both the Festival and the 2027 season, or just one. 

All Sunbeam productions are compensated via proceed-share agreement, and are non-union. All artists must be able to work as Toronto locals. 

Our mandate is to provide opportunities for emerging artists on and off stage. We describe emerging and early career artists as people of any age, who are seeking opportunities to earn professional credits. They often are recent graduates from theatre school, but formal training is not a pre-requisite.

We welcome applicants of every identity and encourage applications from Indigenous, Black, Latinx, MENASA, API, Deaf, disabled, 2SLGBTQ+, mixed, and white artists.
