Meteor Shower: A Celebration of New Works is a festival of new plays, written by emerging playwrights in Canada.

The Festival will consist of two nights of presentations of scenes from in-development plays, featuring emerging playwrights, directors, and actors. Playwrights will be paired with emerging dramaturgs to develop their scripts, and an excerpt from each play will be shared at one of the evenings of the celebration. 

At the end of each evening, the playwrights will be invited to participate in a moderated Question & Answer session.

Moonlight Reads Play Submissions

We are seeking new play submissions from emerging playwrights for our moonlight reads initiative.

This initiative is a series of free play readings available to actors, creatives, and community members. If you have a script that you would like to hear aloud, we would love to read it!
